About the event
In celebration of Youth Day, Myclinic partnered with community organisations, healthcare partners, schools, local businesses and residents to host the inaugural March for School Shoes campaign in Soweto. The initiative was created to address a simple but significant challenge faced by many learners: attending school without appropriate footwear.
Participants marched through the community gathering at Dikgabane Primary School for a day focused on dignity, education, health and community support.
Impact Achieved
Over 1,200 pairs of school shoes collected and distributed
More than 800 community members participated
